Welcome to Raspberry Rose

Raspberry Rose is a women's clothing boutique located in the heart of the Rice Village in Houston just minutes from the Texas Medical Center. We carry a full array of tops, bottoms, dresses and jewelry. For more than 30 years, our clothing store has been dressing women in the latest fashion styles

Take a step inside Raspberry Rose and you’ll find a fresh, relaxing boutique.

In our clothing and jewelry store, you’ll feel like you’re on vacation in a quaint small town. We greet customers by name, know what’s going on in their lives and develop long lasting friendships. In fact, many loyal clients describe Raspberry Rose as their home away from home. They pop in to escape their busy day, see what’s new and shop in a relaxed, no pressure environment. Our fabulous finds coupled with honest opinions will give you the confidence to walk out feeling like you are ready to face your next challenge, whatever it may be!

Our goal is to provide you with fun and fresh trends that are also wearable. We understand some of the latest styles aren’t always appropriate for work, casual outings with the family and everyday life. That’s why Raspberry Rose carries a nice balance. We love the sexy, little black dress that you can wear to your next party, but we also love our casual tees and denim. When we go to market, we look for a variety of styles to benefit all of our customers. When you shop at Raspberry Rose, the compliments on your new look are sure to be flowing.

How It All Began

Maureen Sweeney opened Raspberry Rose in Bellaire and moved it to its current home in the Rice Village in 1983. Maureen was a success in making her boutique the place in Houston to get unparalleled service and unique items that could last a lifetime. By moving to the heart of a shopping destination, Raspberry Rose not only attracted new customers but benefitted current ones too. To keep our loyal customers up to date, Raspberry Rose has evolved over the years to stay current with the latest trends and styles.

Longtime customers remember Maureen’s daughter, Carrie, playing under the racks of the store as a young girl. Over the years, Carrie learned the ins and outs of the boutique business from her mom. She brought fresh ideas and new styles to the store. When Maureen was ready to retire from the boutique, it was a natural fit for Carrie to take over as owner. After a two year battle with cancer, Maureen passed away in early 2012. Her legacy will always be part of Raspberry Rose.

Raspberry Rose still to this day remains focused on our customers. We provide weekly emails to keep you updated on our new arrivals and we always make sure to have a cold bottle of wine ready to ensure your shopping experience is relaxing.
